High.School.Registration.
(I was the only mom there. I wonder if I embarrassed her. I don't really care if I did, cuz that's what moms do.)
But. It was sad for me.
(Have you seen the kids that go to High School? They are big. And old. And some of the things they do and say frighten me. It about makes my blood run cold in my veins to think of sending her there.)
And then, to top it off, my baby is going to turn eight and be baptized in about 10 1/2 days.
In the words of the great philosopher, David After Dentist, "Is this real life? . . . Why is this happening to me? Is this going to be forever?"
I have to admit, some days I wish I didn't feel anything. It's hard being a mom.

welcome back to blog-
It really stinks sometimes- no doubt about it.
I can NOT believe that the oldest one is going to be in HIGH SCHOOL. I feel like I was just teaching her in Primary!
Yeah, tell your kids to stop growing. I don't like it. But life should get easier w/ high school, no? junior high IS the worst!
So they say. I'm just a little afraid that the Oldest Carrotstick specialized in drama and that it will just follow her wherever she goes. But I'm hoping for the best.
Amen!
ps- so glad you're back. I hope you'll stay.
Real life can really be a blur sometimes...that's for sure. Yay-the lunch lady's back! The lunch room was so empty without you!!
I was sooooooooo glad to see my favorite Lunch Lady back in action! : ) Seriously, High School? Wow. Love the video!
