"You're going to Corn Scouts."
"It's Cub Scouts."
"Dummy" was added to the end of that sentence, unspoken, but very implied.
"No, it's not," he argued. "It's Corn. Look at the badge --" and he pointed at the Scout Emblem. "See, it's Corn. Not a Cub. Or a Boy. So you," he finished smugly, "You are a Corn Scout."
I think we all know who the real cornball is.

Carrot sticks are very literal at this age I've found :) It's kind of funny.
It does look like corn, and corn scouts makes more sense than a cub scout. Corn scouts learn all sorts of stuff, don't they have an agriculture badge?
Dear Sister,
One night when I scrambling to find something interesting to make for dinner, I thought "Wouldn't it be helpful/fun for all the good cooks I know to share tasty recipes on their blogs? Perhaps it could be a weekly event on Fridays." The other week I happened to mention this to Chris, who passed it on to his wife, and then I promptly forgot I ever said anything. Dear, dear sister(and best of cooks) - could you please share some of your scrumptious dishes, too?
Sincerely,
The Rotten One
