In honor(??) of my new calling in the Young Womens organization, I decided to inaugurate my new church bag yesterday. I bought it at a quirky little store in Virginia at the beginning of July, but I hadn't used it yet. I worried it was a little too "out there" for the conservative ladies of the Relief Society.
Since the Young Women are all so crazy as it is, I don't think anyone will notice.
My kids are only a little embarrassed by it/me.

I saw a crazy bag the other day made entirely out of candy wrappers...we could definitely have all the Young Womens' attention with a bag like that. Of course, we may have most of the Primary and half of the other organizations as well...
I'm going to miss you in Relief Society (I loved your lessons). I know the young women are going to love you.

I know, I am one of those "boring" ladies. It won't be the same without you. I am still NOT happy about your new calling. But you will do great. And you will be greatly missed... :(
ok, conservative was the wrong word . . . Relief Society ladies are definitely cool! (just not so inclined to carry tacky bags to church)
I would be sad as I sit in RS missing your lessons except that I will be thinking how great it is that my three daughters get to be with you...!
Perhaps a blog plus a crazy bag is criteria for a YW calling...except that I don't see Jana or Becky over in your blog list. =)

Shem..you might be onto something. However, will the young ladies wonder who they have put in charge of them, and run screaming the other way?? hmmm..I hope not, cause a crazy bag sounds like fun!
