what is wrong with this picture?

I blame Jane Austen for the world's freckle prejudice. If Lydia hadn't labeled Mary King as "that nasty freckled thing", people would be more inclined to embrace freckles as the sign of beauty they really are.

Like Mom says, "A face without freckles is like a sky without stars."

I never liked that Lydia.

A lot of good a simpering, smirking flawless complexion

did for her.

Are you kidding me? You asked, "what's wrong with this picture" and I honestly spent 30 seconds looking at it before I gave up and had to read the answer. The only thing I could find wrong with it is that I don't own that fabulous knitted hat. You two are gorgeous and I've always adored freckles. But you know - I couldn't even see the faint freckles until I clicked the picture to make it super big.

Trust me, it's just you!

I have to tell you, I don't even see the freckles when I look at Liz. I see her like she looks in the post-freckle picture. She's the only one that notices them. I agree with Hollywood, you are gorgeous!

for that matter, I don't see my own, except after a day in the sun!

Yes, but as you pointed out, Hollywood never even looked at the freckle picture - she hasn't seen the real goods. Anyway, thanks for finally giving me an alabaster brow.

That is because you hardly have any. I'm getting my erased someday.....someday soon.

I have just as many freckles as everyone else, it's just that you don't notice mine, because you're not me. I think the platitude should be "Freckles exist only in the eye of the owner."

Elle was envious of her aunties'
