trading treats tuesday

Part of the Corn Scout slogan is:

"Do a Good Turn Daily."

I, myself, did a good deed today. Not to brag or anything.

And, because I'm all about immediate gratification, I didn't wait to receive blessings in heaven.

I rewarded myself with this:
A strawberry nutella crepe.

And it was oh-so-good.

That, my friends, is my treat this Trading Treats Tuesday:

Strawberry Nutella Crepes.

Warm, gooey, fruity goodness.

Many moons ago, before my little sister Competitive Kate abandoned me, she and I used to treat ourselves and share a Strawberry Nutella Panini. They were really good. Until the stupid restaraunt decided to quit making them. In protest, we withdrew our endorsement of that place entirely (if you're a local, it rhymes with Poopas.) And then Kate moved and that was the end of that entirely. But if she were still here, I would have taken her with me for crepe-y goodness. (Wish you were here. :( Did you send my birthday present home with PB&J??)

If you want to know where to go to partake of such goodness, ask me in the comments and I'll let you know. It rhymes with My Egg Rolls -- but they only sell gelato and crepes, not nasty mass produced chinese food.

Good stuff.

What's your treat today??

Oooh yummy! I want to know where you found such yumminess - I have heard that Maestro's Gelato Cafe in Provo has yummy Nutella crepes.

My treat for today is shopping (I love to shop for anything) for the supplies for my Halloween yummies that I am making for my work party on Thursday.

Maestro's it is!

(BTW, Allyson, I'm still trying to convince myself that I NEED that cute little acorn pan from WS!)

oh, I heart maestro's! Why do you do these things to me....make me sad a jealous. PB&J took us out for gelato, and it was pretty good. We talked about hunting over ice cream, definitely my idea of a bloody fun discussion. I told him I take after my sister in that the only hunting I do is for bargains.

Had I known PB&J was going to be in town, I would have been better prepared, but I suppose you will have to wait by the mailbox.

oh yeah, I forgot to say what my treat today is.........a Halloween cupcake and a visit from PB&J.

Mmm Nutella. Mmm strawberries. Mmm crepes. Mmm, I don't think I have any treats to trade today; Wednesdays are no fun.

That looks delicious!! My mouth is watering...I wish I was talented (and ambitious) enough to make such a creation! My treat today is crunchy leaves. What a fun time of year (which doesn't last very long) when I can go out to get my mail and become a kid again as I crunch, crunch, crunch through the leaves!!

A little late but my treat was being able to do as many loads of laundry as my little heart wanted! I even got to wash sheets!

May sound weird to some of you people, but you try keeping a family of 5 in clean clothes when your dryer will only do one load a day without severely protesting.

The inventor of Nutella was a genius. Genius, I say!

My treat (a little late) is my daughter. She's so much better than me. She inspires me with her goodness.

I love the change of seasons. With the change of seasons, comes a change of pace which for some reason is motivating to me.

I look forward to getting out in the yard by the time spring comes but I'm always ready for yard work to be over in the fall. The leaves, the colors, the air...I love it all.

I love Nutella! We always put it on bread growing up..crepes are looking 1000x better. I might have to break down and try one, knowing it will only land me in the gym for an extra hour!
I love Jana's treat..I love playing in the leaves.
